Table grapes are where a planned program shows its value. California runs the domestic deal from late summer into autumn; Peru opens in December and January, Chile takes the peak through the first quarter, Mexico picks up the early summer and Brazil closes the year. Varieties are committed in advance, which is what keeps a retail ad slot safe when the market moves.
